Liliya Georgieva graduated from Technical University – Sofia in 1992 as a mechanical engineer in Automatic Machine Building and in 1995 – from SouthWest University of Blagoevgrad with a degree in English language and literature. She has 9 years of professional experience in teaching English to students from 1-12 grade, including in preparatory classes. Since 2001 she has been working for various European companies such as the British Council (UK), Mid-Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UK), Basnet Consulting (Belgium), Ramboll Management (Denmark), Ecorys (Netherlands) and the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in the area of project management, monitoring and implementation, financed from the EU funds. She also is experienced in financial planning, management and reporting of international projects. Fluent in English and Russian.
